My visit home to Scotland took me to the summits north and south of the Garve - Ullapool Road. The second half of the journey was a traverse of the Beinn Dearg mountain range north upto Seana Braigh which is illustrated here

I've now added personal photos of a period when I was on home soil. This includes a trip to Braemar with friends - my snowiest easter, two friends getting married to each other, and photos of my jounrney back to Singapore.

My later trip was to Knoydart starting from Inverie. Again, I was blassed with Blue Skies and unseasonably warm sunshine. I've added text and photos for mountains in western Knoydart.


Ardgour Summits

12th February 2008

While waiting for the Knoydart ferry, I took a day out to climb the summit of Sgurr Ghiubhsachain just south of Fort William. Ardgour remains a relatively unexplored part of Scotland for me, so this visit added a lot of new photographs to this section of my website.


The Strathfarrar Munros

11th February 2008

On this session, my first mountains to traverse were the Glen Strathfarrar Munros. Barred by a closed road up Glen Strathfarrar, I approached these summits from Strath Conon to the north. Text and Photos added.

Brief status about myself
As of January 2008 I am on secondment in Singapore for the commisioning of a new ship. It is the second phase of a project that has previously seen me working in Norway.

So far in 2008 I have climbed the mountains of Strathfarrar, Knoydart, Loch Shiel, Mull, Southern Cairngorms and the Fannichs.

In terms of personal projects this year, I intend to traverse the following mountain ranges:
- Fisherfield Forest
- Torridon
